It’s hard to say enough good about Eli & Michelle. They are so laid back and silly that being with them is so much fun! Their engagement session at Bayfront Park in Hamilton was absolutely no exception. A blast from start to finish. I could go on and on but I’ll let the photos do the talking!
With a lot of creative inspiration building up before our Spring season of engagements and weddings begin, we took the time to head down to the Hamilton Beach for some portraits in the sand dunes! For the first half of the session (where Aidan was photographing Leanne), he tried to replicate the film photography experience by shooting with one lens in manual focus, using a slow memory card and (primarily) covering up the rear LCD display on the camera so that he had no choice but to trust his camera settings when shooting. Overall, it was a huge success and a lot of fun! For the second half of the shoot, we set up our camera tripod and took some photos together in the sand. When we had started dating, taking photos was how we would spend time together, so it was a lot of fun to get back to our roots by snuggling up and grabbing some fun portraits of us. In total, the shoot was amazing and we are so excited for all that we have coming up in the next few weeks!
We LOVE Nick & Steph! These two are honestly so relaxed, such happy people and we love how palpable their love is for each other after tying the knot nearly two years ago (Click here to see their wedding photos). Getting to catch up with them for a mini portrait session at Pier 4 Park here in Hamilton was awesome and we enjoyed our time with them! As you can tell, these two are so at ease on camera and photographing them again was a real treat. If you know these two, you already know what we’re talking about. They are such incredible people and we loved every second of this mini portrait session!
We spent the day shooting some Mini Sessions at Bayfront and Pier 4 Park in Hamilton! When all of that fun was over, we spent some time taking our dog Beasley to the dog park to let off a little steam. Lots of behind the scenes and a handful of bloopers, check it out and enjoy a small laugh 😉
Jordan & Chantale were the winners of our Valentine’s Day Portrait Session Giveaway and we had the most fantastic time with them during the session! In the middle of a particularly snowless winter, we took the opportunity to explore the Tropical Greenhouse at Gage Park in Hamilton. This space is a super cozy (and humid!) spot that provided so much for us to work with and we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop this time of year for this beautiful couple’s excellent session. The chemistry between these two is amazing and their sparks were so easy to capture on camera. We loved how willing they were to let us work with them and how excited they were to have a date together (that involved a few extra cameras and people!). All in all, we couldn’t have asked for any more than we got, and this will definitely be a session we cherish. Jordan & Chantale – thanks for entering our contest and for being so excited about hanging out with us!
